Before towns had names and before the first Bond was spoken aloud, there was Arcanella — the Creator of this world and the quiet author of its living magic. Pearlescent and crowned in celestial gold, she walks the high places between cloud and star, her mane and tail carrying the night sky itself: violet nebulae, soft rainbow edges, and countless points of light.
The Wheel of First Lights
Around her midsection turns a golden celestial wheel set with five living jewels. Storykeepers disagree on the exact names of each gem, but most traditions agree they encode the original spectrum from which Elements later branched — growth, tide, starlight, sky-fire, and heart-ember. At her breast rests an iridescent star-gem, said to be the first concentrated spark of Raw Aether given a will.
What She Made
Arcanella did not forge Arcana Beasts as servants. She poured Raw Aether into the world's veins, shaped habitats into templates, and left Emotion as the catalyst that turns energy into someone. The Triad of Creation — Aether, Environment, and Emotion — is her lasting law. When a wild Arcana Beast stirs from Slumbering Rest, or when a Beast Binder and partner deepen a Bond, scholars say they are still answering the pattern she set.
